Location -  York House Centre 
We have hired the Beechy Room (this is the downstairs room at the rear of York house and we have been advised to use the rear entrance), London Road, Stony Stratford, Milton Kenyes, MK11 1JQ. 

We have hired the room from 10:30am so if you want to arrive then you are most welcome.  In the afternoon we have a social sewing afternoon, if you would like to stay that session is from 1:30pm until 4:30pm and costs £6 per person.


Sewing Machine Maintance

This course is deisgned to go through everything you need to know in order to look after and maintance your machine.


We will learn how to clean and oil your machine, check upper tension, check lower tension, check the needle plate for scratches, clean the bobbin area.

We will also look at stitch formation, and the importance of the correct needle type, and corresponding thread.

We will also have a section at the end where you can ask questions about any queries you have that are specific to your machine or sewing projects.

All equipment is provided but we recommend you bring your own sewing machine along in order to get the most from this workshop.  We do have spare machines if you do not wish to bring your own.

Tea/Coffee and biscuits are provided.
